The fragrance of freshly-baked bread inspires your soul, the aroma of partly self-picked herbal tea and delicious coffee  fills the breakfast room. In the afternoon, after a day out in the nature hiking or skiing, you can find some refreshment. Every day we offer a different delicious cake. The recipes are a family tradition, made with love for generations.

Our chef Roland guarantees that your day will conclude on a high, swinging a wooden spoon since his early childhood. Choose whatever you like from your à-la-carte menu and wait for the culinary delight. A combination of Alpine and Mediterranean delights is on the way to you.

As you can already imagine, our Spa bonds origins, in the form of our landscape, with the modernity of modern Spa amenities. Finnish sauna, steam and hay bath attract with their warmth and flavours. If you want to have more rest, lie down in one of our relaxation rooms and enjoy a cup of herbal tea and an entertaining book.

Take a swim in the heated water of our swimming pool, even outside, when it is snowing. From there you can gaze at the beauty of the Dolomites.

For the stay at our Montis Spa, the wellness bag will be your perfect companion. It will wait for you in your room at your arrival, containing a bath robe and a towel.

For the benefit of the environment, we kindly ask you to bring your own bath slippers.

One card for countless experiences – with the Gitschberg Jochtal Almencard, you can travel for free on public transport across South Tyrol, enjoy free admittance to over 90 museums and ride for free on the Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars in selected periods.

Use the Gitschberg Jochtal Almencard to:

• Travel for free on the Berg-Nesselbahn cable car on Mt. Gitschberg in Meransen and on the Jochtal cable car in Vals, from 29th May to 11th July 2025 and from 15th September to 4th November 2025
• Travel for free on public transport across South Tyrol
• Visit over 90 museum and exhibitions in South Tyrol for free
• Get free rides on the Almbus shuttle bus to the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp

Hiking sticks, toboggans, snowshoes and spikes can be borrowed from us free of charge. In addition, a rucksack is available in every room, which you are welcome to use during your stay.

Leave your skiing equipment in our ski room, to collect it dry on the day after. In the summer it becomes a parking spot for your bike, until you collect it, ready for the next adventure.
 

In the winter months, our ski shuttle is also available to our guests. Within a few minutes we will take you to the valley station of the Gitschberg lift. From there you can get straight onto your skis and enjoy the 55 kilometres of pistes in the Gitschberg Jochtal ski area. Of course we will pick you up again after a marvellous day of skiing.

By preordering, your ski pass will be delivered directly at the reception desk. With our winter specials you will get a special rate.
